About Us
The Gazelle Index is a national quarterly survey of CEOs of high performing small businesses and businesses owned by diverse groups. The Index focuses on diverse groups such as minority and nonminority-owned businesses; African American/Black-owned businesses, Hispanic-owned/Latino-owned businesses, women-owned businesses and business owned by men. www.gazelleindex.com is the website and blog that publishes content based on the Gazelle Index quarterly survey. The site also publishes content related to current economic conditions, current economic outlook, employment, unemployment, hiring and the general state of the economy. The Gazelle Index is designed to make small business owners and start-up entrepreneurs more successful. The ultimate goal is to provide a business social network for the exchange of information among businesses owned by minorities, non-minorities, African Americans/blacks, Hispanic/Latinos, women and men, and other diverse small business owners. While the Gazelle Index initial focus is North America, its future plans include small businesses and economic conditions in emerging and mature economies throughout the world.
The MISSION of Gazelle Index is to serve as a lens for small businesses to better understand how ideas, data, and news affect their day to day business decisions.
The VISION of Gazelle Index is to become the leading business network for small and diverse business owners in advanced and emerging market economies.
